About the Farm.
An astute coffee producer, Lilian comes from a family with a rich tradition of coffee growing. Her father worked with coffee and has passed his knowledge on to her. Lilian’s husband André, the current Brazilian Cup Tasters Champion and producer of the Brazil Cup of Excellence 2019 winning lot (Fazenda Pai e Filho), aids in the growth and cultivation of Lilian’s lots. The harvested beans are naturally processed through a careful and painstaking technique overseen by Lilian herself, whereby the beans dry slowly on a concrete patio and rest for 30 days. Lilian’s brother, Luismar Aurélio, and her nephew, Marco Aurélio, are responsible for tending the coffee crop in the fields while seasonal workers from Bahia aid during harvest, picking beans in select areas where mechanized harvesting is not possible.
