We are deeply passionate about the art and science of specialty coffee. With years of experience in sourcing, roasting, and crafting exceptional coffee, we strive to create an experience that honors the dedication of the farmers who grow our beans.

We take great care in every step of the process, from carefully selecting high-quality, sustainably grown coffee from dedicated farmers around the world, to expertly roasting each batch to bring out the unique flavors and nuances of each origin.

Our commitment to quality, sustainability, and craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that every cup of Ascension Coffee is not only a product of skill and passion but a meaningful connection to the people behind the beans.

Quality First

Our Quality Control (QC) team, which includes two in-house Q Arabica graders, carefully examines every roast sample. Before it leaves our warehouse, each coffee roast batch goes through our strict sensory standards to make sure it meets our high-quality expectations.

Peak Freshness

We flush each bag with nitrogen, an inert gas, to preserve the freshness of the roast. By utilizing this common method for slowing the staling process, our packaged coffee stays fresh and delicious for 120 days. Each bag has a special one way valve allowing the coffee to degas while protecting the coffee from oxygen.

As a general rule of thumb, we recommend enjoying a fresh coffee roast a few days after it has been roasted, so the coffee is well-rested and ready to be brewed!

Roasting Equipment

We fondly refer to our two Diedrich Coffee Roaster machines as Dee Dee and Dexter. These roasters are crafted with precision and passion to allow us to roast coffee with consistently high quality.
