Cosecha de Mujer.

Prosperidad de Chirinos, founded in 1968, has 817 members; more than a quarter of which are women. They cultivate high-quality coffees in San Ignacio, Cajamarca, benefiting from the region's high altitudes. The cooperative facilitates a myriad of programs including agronomic support, financing, and training in sensory evaluation, beekeeping, avocado farming, and more. They prioritize empowering women through a dedicated committee and leadership roles within the organization. Our President and Green Coffee Buyer, Jess Keenan, visited this group in the fall. Jess was asked to join as a tasting panelist for a contest involving the women producers. We are thrilled to offer the coffee from this competition.
