We purchased this coffee during a recent visit to Guatemala, where we had the opportunity to spend time with the Villatoro family and see firsthand the care behind their work. The Villatoros have been growing coffee for generations, earning recognition for their consistent focus on quality, thoughtful farm management, and long-term stewardship of their land.
In the cup, expect notes of rich chocolate, brown sugar, and dried fruit. The sweetness is reminiscent of panela and baking chocolate, while the fruit character adds depth and complexity without overshadowing the coffee’s classic Guatemalan profile.
This is a small lot that reflects both the Villatoro family’s experience and the relationships that make sustainable sourcing possible.
