About The Coffee

Huver Castillo, a third-generation coffee grower made the shift from math teacher to working on his family’s farm in El Paseo.

About The Producer

The farm sits at an altitude of 1750 to 1950 meters ;and is surrounded by native shade trees. Huver’s unique Caturra coffee undergoes an anaerobic semi-washed process. It begins with 60 hours of aerobic fermentation in concrete tanks, then moves to anaerobic steel tanks&nbsp where pH levels are carefully monitored. After fermentation, the coffee is sun-dried for 20 days, stored in GrainPro bags for another 20 days and finally milled to preserve its distinct characteristics.
